Valina and I took the kids to the ocean for a way to cool off (since it was over 95 degrees at home, 97 in Aberdeen and at least 88 in Ocean Shores) and to play at the beach. ANNI LOVED IT!!! She didn't want to leave...she loved walking in the water. She loved splashing in the puddles, she loved the sand, she ate the sand and so much more. She couldn't get enough of it!
Kenzie on the other hand, didn't want much to do with the water but loved the sand! She got mad when the water came and ruined her castle!
I have never, never seen so many people on the beach. The water created some challenges for those who didn't move their vehicles. The cops and tow trucks were out in full force.
We were just headed to town when this breeze of COOL AIR came in. It was like some one had turned on a switch! We still went and had ice cream and taffy!!! Yummy!
Later that night we went to our cousins wedding reception in Pacific Beach. Kenzie had to stay until she could dance. 
Anni was ready for bed, and her car ride home long before the dancing began! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our busy day!
